Review – Is This Site Legit or Scam Review – Is This Site Legit or Scam?

The review shows that this is a website that offers lists of information about homes that are in foreclosure. The site uses the HUD name to give it a bit of authenticity but it is not in any way connected to any government agency. This is an independently owned website. If you are someone looking for foreclosed property, you may want to check out as many people are reporting good finds there.

There is nothing wrong with using a name that is going to get you some attention but I do feel like it is a bit of a sham. The real estate market crashed in 2009 and has yet to return to its pre-crash status. There are many many houses that are in foreclosure across the US.

There are many businesses that are trying to take advantage of the state of the market. I have no problem with people making money but I like to think that they are offering a legitimate service.

Getting Started

This site offers a seven day free trial. This is a nice offering but do understand that the seven day free trial does not allow you to search much and it offers limited access. The cost after the 7 day free trial is $9.95 a week!

You need a credit card to register. You have to be 18 and you have to have a legitimate email address.

Is It Worth The Expense

Most people really just want the nuts and bolts of the situation and want to know whether the cost of the site is worth it. I guess it depends on how you look at things. It is worth it if you do not want to do the searching yourself.

This is free information that this site has taken the time to compile for you. What you get for your money is access to a database that contains all the information that has been gathered for a specific area. Largely this information comes from your local county court house where foreclosure information is kept.

It may to you be worth the expense if you do not want the hassle of searching on your own.

I liked that this site was super easy to navigate. Everything was laid out well and finding the answers to my questions was easy!

There was a toll free number to contact if you had any unanswered question which also always makes me feel warm and fuzzy toward a site.

If you are looking for a bargain in real estate than this may be a site you may want to check out. The service is limited during the 7 day free trial but it may be worth the $9.95 fee to get the information that you need. Of course make a mental note of when your 7 days will expire and keep up on how long you have the account so that you can cancel when you need to and avoid any further charges.  The owners of the site probably are banking on the fact that many people forget to cancel when they no longer want the service.

Subscription Price: $9.95 per week

Overall, the reviews show that this is a legit site and is not a scam, however most people prefer using a service like for finding deals on foreclosed property.
